Regularly called Silver Plated Butter / Caviar Dish / Condiment Dish most of these globe shaped silver plated servers had Crystal Inner Bowls, most were on a dome shaped roll top hinge and most were made in England. These were designed to keep the contents cool or chilled and came with a small silver serving spoon / caviar knife. Conditions usually lend to polished to oxidized & scratched.
