An unique example of fine primitive craftsmanship. The collar is made of a narrow hardwood slat (43" x 2" x ¾") that was carved, notched, drilled and then bent until the ends nearly touch. The hardwood stay has a two peg hold for sizing – 3 metal bolts in bottom - no varnish remains - leaving the yoke with a very well-worn appearance – smooth and authentic.
