Gaspeite & Sterling Spiral Post Earrings
These Zuni Sterling Silver and Gaspeite post swirl shaped earrings were purchased in Tucson, Arizona. They were made by a Zuni artist whose initials are "D A" which is stamped on one of the earrings; the earrings have been tested as sterling.
These pretty Gaspeite and inlay sterling earrings measure 1 1/2"inches tall and 3/8” inch wide. The earrings have a combined weight of 3.2 grams for all day comfort. These earrings have not been polished - they are vintage from the 1960’s. Zuni jewelry is considered the most intricate and detailed of all Southwestern tribal jewelry.
