This unusual vintage desktop inkwell  uses what appears to be an Acro Blue/Yellow Popeye Marble for the stopper - Blown Glass "Common Sense" Inkwell No Spill Design -  stands 1 7/8" tall. The marble is encased in the top and cannot be measured. The condition of the inkwell appears to have some wear with noticeable surface blemishes. The marble is clean – the glass has aged to a sweet gray hue and has many bubbles - called "Common Sense" because they were very hard to tip and very hard to spill.
