Welcome to UNIQUE ART ANTIQUES AT SEPTEMBER SPRINGS RANCH

Williamson Tapia A successful (city-born) Native American Artist and art student at Glendale College (1978-80) and Arizona State (1981-83). Will acquired a deep appreciation for the challenge of oil painting and the great legacy of artists in history who produced iconic works of art without the convention of portable camera technology. With his ties to Native American traditions, his art became more fluent and awakened an interest and philosophy and a determination to paint more natural subjects through direct observation.

Amisdt all the controversy about what 'plein-air' is and 'is not' with the current arts community [amongst collectors, artists and historians], there is only one fact interested people really need to know about Will Tapia ... he only paints from 'living' subjects

Whether the composition is of Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Downtown Glendale or still life ... if the painting is by WIlliamson Tapia, you can be certain he was working only from subjects he could see directly in real time, without any reliance upon camera or photgraphic reference whatsoever ... en plein air, non photo appariel
