Eamor Saddle, "The Canadian"

The model 100 is also known as "The Canadian". It was one of the most sought-after saddles back in the day. They were made from 1945-1974. This model was made by F. Eamor in High River, Alberta, Canada.

It is built upon a low moose tree; the seat is 15 1/2 ". It has a 3" common cantle and 14" swells, with a 4" mex. roper horn. The rigging is set at 7/8" skirt. The tree bars are semi quarter horse.

In this modern age of assembly line production we see little of the old-time hand wrought workmanship that in our grandfather's day was the commonly accepted standard of quality and artistic achievement. The hand stamping of leather and the making of leather goods is the exception.
