A Pictorial History of the Final Days of World War II
Hans Dollinger is a German writer and non-fiction author. Dollinger was a bookseller and a journalist. From 1958 to 1962 he worked as an editor for the magazine Die Kultur. He moved to Munich where he worked as an editor and freelance author. Dollinger mainly published popular science books on contemporary history. In 1975 he began publishing an 18-volume Graf work edition. Together with the Bavarian State Library, Dollinger developed an exhibition on Oskar Maria Graf, which was presented in 32 cities from 1977 to 1988.
In 1992, he was a co-founder and until 2008 a board member of the Oskar Maria Graf Society. Dollinger became a member of the Union of German Writers and a member of the PEN Center. In 2004, the city of Munich awarded him the Munich Shines in Silver medal for special services to the Bavarian state capital.
